How to Reach Kalimpong

By Road: Kalimpong is situated at a distance of 67 km from Siliguri. You can reach there by road via NH 10.

By Air: Bagdogra Airport is the nearest airport to reach Kalimpong. It takes nearly 2 and a half hours to reach Kalimpong from here.

Places to Visit in Kalimpong

Durpin Dara Hill

This hill provides some dramatic views of Kalimpong town along with the Teesta River and its valleys. The hill is host to a golf course and the Zang Dhok Palri Monastery.

Crockety

Built in the 18th century, Crockety is a famous bungalow known for its breathtaking surroundings. It is said that Rabindra Nath Tagore broadcasted his work from behind Crockety.

Deolo Hill

Placed at an elevation of 2000 m, Deolo Hill provides mesmerizing views of Kalimpong. It also has some proper viewpoints meant for the best views of sunrise and sunset.

Morgan House

Built in the 1930s by Mr. and Mrs. Morgan, Morgan House is a typical example of colonial architecture in Kalimpong. Presently it has been converted into a lodge for tourists and is under West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation.

Galingka
